The [U.E.F.A.] technique (Upper Eyelid Filling Approach) is a refined method designed to treat both sunken and hollow upper eyelids using dermal H.A. fillers.
This approach is indicated for cases of sunken eye and hollow eye with moderate and several skin folds, it's indicated also in treatment of upper eyelid's volume loss associated with dermatochalasis, as well as for post-surgical upper eyelid hollowing.

About Dr. Francesco Romeo
Born on September 1, 1963, in Paola, Italy, Dr Romeo has dedicated his education and career to advancing AESTHETIC MEDICINE and GENERAL, AESTHETIC, PLASTIC and ONCOPLASTIC RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY.
He is a registered Medical Practitioners at the Medical Federation of Rome from 1994 and General Medical Council in London (UK Medical Federation), with Full Registration as a Medical Practitioner n. 7483731.
He conducted more than 5 thousands surgical operations ranging from middle to highly difficult interventions.
Dr Romeo published and write original works in international scientific journals of world importance with significant impact factor.
He wrote a world first book, about Eye Rejuvenation and Upper Eyelid, published by Acta Medica in 2015 and a second, very relevant book The Gaze, the Art of Periorbital Rejuvenation published by ActaMedica 2024
Dr Romeo is external Professor at the “La Sapienza” University of Rome, teaching at the II level Master in Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine and at the University of Padua the II level Master in Multi-district Morphofunctional Surgery
